the devil's spawn aka bread

i dont know what came over me today...but i ate an entire loaf of bread...all by myself...
i must tell you (just so i can alleviate some of this overwhelming embarassment) that it was not those crappy loaves from coles of woolies...it was a loaf from a bakery...it had a weird name...i cant even remember what it was called...but i must say...it was oh-so delicious...

no wonder i cant loose weight...why are carbs so delicious...or more to the point...why is food so delicious...i need some appetite supressors...stat!!

my Achilles' heel

ok...i dont know whats worse: the embarassment that i am going to have to face when i tell my family that i actually comsumed an entire loaf of bread...or the weight that i am going to gain from eating all those carbs...T_T

maybe i'll just keep quiet, while forcibly putting on an air of non-chalance, and hope that my family don't realise that the bread is gone...

ok...so you know how westerners like asian food cos its like meant to be a healthier alternative or something (ok...well maybe not chinese food)?? well...then...being asian myself...why am i so fat?

yesterday at church i ate like a pregnant woman...for breakfast i ate this korean cabbage soup thing, for lunch i ate sushi, and for dinner i ate this deep fried chicken in garlic sauce (ggam pung gi)...i didnt know it was garlic sauce...i thought it was this hi-tech, new-age, spicy asian sauce...but its supposedly only just garlic...this is why im not a chef....

so today i decided that the only humane thing to do was to starve myself...and it paid off!! well...the results may not be visible to the naked eye...but i think i lost weight...cos my glasses dont feel as tight as they usually do...hi-5 for metabolism!!

today i went to castle towers with my sister to do a bit of shopping...
and i came to the realisation that all my shopping (well....for clothes anyway) is done at general pants...
now...am i considered to be narrow-minded because of this or am i just a very loyal customer?
and to the after christmas sales...I HATE YOU!!!!
where is all the good, normal stock at general pants?? have they all gone out the back??
the week before christmas when i went into general pants, they had all these shirts that i wanted...and straight after christmas they were all gone...*whimper*
why is the store filled with sale items which are all rubbish and out of date? I HATE YOU, AFTER CHRISTMAS SALES!!!!! BRING ALL THE GOOD STOCK BACK!!
the after christmas sales is just an excuse to for the stores to try and sell all the unwanted, unsellable (is that a word?? yea..im pretty sure it is) stock.
i mean, yeah dont get me wrong...i love something thats on sale just as much as the next person...but...only some things are good and actually worth buying when they are on sale..such as...underwear, socks and hosiery, towels, toilet paper, toothbrushes, and stationary...and thats about it...clothes definately do not come into this category at all!!! ...everything else thats on sale is either out of date, off or about to go off...
